About Our Club

 Our club started in 2020 to provide a local HEMA club to people in and around Basingstoke.  Like most clubs we started in a small community hall and quickly outgrew this.  We have changed location several times of the first few years as the club has grown and use a full size sports hall to accommodate our members as we usually have classes of 25-30 attendees.  

We expect Andover HEMA to be as successful as Basingstoke and look forward to meeting and crossing swords with you.  At the Andover club, for a short while we will be accepting new members on an adhoc basis allowing people to join the club when they wish, however this is likely to change next year.  We have found in Basingstoke that starting beginners in groups works very well and will duplicate those groups in Andover once we have got the first few months out of the way.
